Babylonia are and always will be Max Giunta & Robbie Rox.

The band began in Milan in 2003 with the release of the single Without Asking Me.

Their debut album LATER TONIGHT (2006) then followed and was well received by the music press with glowing reviews.
The album was released in many countries by the German label Infacted Recordings, a leading light in the world of electronic music.
Babylonia soon made a name for themselves on the web too.
The Later Tonight tour stopped in several cities across Europe including Berlin, Frankfurt, Prague, Bratislava, Paris and others. The group were also the opening act for various cult bands like Client, IAMX and Melotron.

In November 2008 Babylonia won an award at the Meeting of Independent Labels in Faenza in the electronic music category.

In January 2010 Babylonia returned with their second album MOTEL LA SOLITUDE with the help of the sound engineer Marco Barusso, who has worked with Lacuna Coil, Modà, HIM, Eros Ramazzotti and others.

The singles lifted from the album (BY MY SIDE, MYSELF INTO MYSELF and ETHEREAL CONNECTION) were a great success on Italian radio stations, and the videos, directed by Stefano Bertelli (Cristina Donà, Caparezza and others), were shown on the main music TV stations (MTV, Deejay TV, Match Music, Music Box etc.).

The LA SOLITUDE 2010 TOUR took the band to many Italian and European cities, including unforgettable dates in Moscow, Barcelona, Istanbul, Bratislava and St Petersburg.
During the tour Babylonia were the opening act for the only Italian concert on the PET SHOP BOYS tour.

The year after, Babylonia embarked on the new CONNECTION TOUR 2011 from May to July that included dates in Italy and abroad, such as Madrid, Volgograd and the Moonlight Festival in Rimini.

On 29 June 2011 the world of Babylonia was shaken by the untimely passing of Robbie Rox, but given everything the band had been through together over the years, Max decided to carry on with the Babylonia project.

In December 2011 THE ETHEREAL COLLECTION was released – a limited edition, numbered vinyl LP created as a tribute to Robbie.
The album contains all Babylonia’s singles and the previously unreleased, heartrending ballad IO SONO IL DESERTO written by Robbie and featuring a special appearance by ALICE.

In September 2012, while working on the band’s new album (to be released in 2013), Max completed the special project “TALES OF LOVING HEARTS”, an album that contains previously unreleased tracks and some covers (including Fortissimo by Rita Pavone, La sua Figura by Giuni Russo and Of All The Things We’ve Made by OMD).
